Benign Enlargement Prostate or BPH is a common health condition affecting men’s health worldwide. Medications
Recommended for mild to moderate symptoms. The medications work by shrinking the prostate and relaxing the smooth muscle of the bladder neck and prostate.
Surgical therapy
The surgeon inserts an endoscope through the urethra to remove or scrape tissue from parts of the prostate into small pieces, using a monopolar electrode which has minimal side-effects but can stop bleeding simultaneously and quick recovery.
Water Vapor Therapy Treatment or Rezum
During the procedure. the doctor inserts a probe into the urethra to reach the prostate.. The treatment only takes about 10 – 15 minutes. Considered a non-surgical approach, this method helps reduce surgical risks with a fast recovery in which sexual health (erection and ejaculation) is less impaired.
