Possible side effects of COVID-19 VACCINE
Mild to moderate symptoms
Fever (within 48 hours), mild headache, muscle pain or body ache
- Drink plenty of water.
- Antipyretic and pain killer drugs e.g. paracetamol can be taken as instructed.
Nausea or vomiting
- Oral dehydration solution might be taken to relieve weakness caused by vomiting
Pain, swelling, redness and warmth at the injection site
- A cold compression is advised.
- If symptoms persist, pain killer drugs can be taken as instructed.
Serious symptoms

Chest discomfort or breathing difficulties
Severe headache
Stroke-like symptoms e.g. lip drooping and leg or arm weakness

Seizure or unconsciousness
**In case that any serious symptom exhibits, immediate medical attention is needed.
