On August 1, 2014, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Co., Ltd., the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and MD Anderson (University of Texas: MD Anderson Cancer Center – MDACC) signed a cooperation agreement to explore development paths towards a Global Academic Program (GAP), which includes academic and research collaboration, as well as the MD Anderson Cancer Network Associate Project, which focuses on clinical treatment collaboration. Later, on November 16, 2014, Vajira Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital were selected as a Sister Institute under the GAP of MDACC, with the company continuing to work towards future cooperation in clinical treatment.
