Congratulations to Air Marshal (Special) Dr. Paisan Chantarapitak for receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Sports Science and Exercise from the National Sports University
Air Marshal (Special) Dr. Paisan Chantarapitak is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and has played a significant role in the development of sports science in Thailand and internationally throughout his career. He has served as the physician for the Thai national football team, the Royal Thai Air Force football team, and other national athletes. He is the chairman of the medical committee of the Football Association and the Olympic Committee of Thailand. He is a member of the medical and doping inspection committees of the AFC and FIFA. His efforts helped BASEM – BANGKOK HOSPITAL to be recognized by FIFA as a FIFA Medical Center of Excellence, the only one in Thailand and ASEAN, out of 49 worldwide. With his outstanding contributions to sports science on both national and international levels, he is honored and respected in the Thai sports community as an exemplary figure.
