Dr. Niwat Intrawichian, Deputy Director of Bangkok Hospital, attended a GROUP INTERVIEW on “Guidelines for Treating Gallstones and Bile Duct Stones at Once Using Endoscopic Technology (ERCP) and Laparoscopic Surgery (LC).” The goal is to reduce the risk and number of anesthesia applications, shorten recovery time, quickly return to normal life, reduce hospital stay, and lower medical expenses. This event featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thun Ingkakul, a surgeon specializing in liver, pancreas, and bile duct laparoscopic surgery, as well as Dr. Aroon Siripun, a physician specializing in Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Gastroenterology and Liver Center. They shared information with the media and demonstrated diagnostic and treatment tools for gallstones and bile duct stones. They also recommended disease prevention by maintaining good health, advising patients to reduce the intake of fried and fatty foods, while increasing the consumption of vegetables and fish.
