Dr. Dulyadetch Damrongsak, Assistant President of the Executive Board, Group 1, Bangkok Hospital, on behalf of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited, Bangkok Hospital Headquarters received the “Outstanding Energy Saving Establishment Award for Controlled Building Category, Hospital Group” from Mr. Peerapong Saleartrutwiphak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, at the 20th anniversary of the Energy Conservation Building in honor of Carbon Neutrality, held at the Energy Conservation Building in Pathum Thani province, with Mr. Prasart Kusrimmit, Building Resources Manager, Bangkok Hospital, co-presenting energy-saving methods to the team of the Deputy Prime Minister and the executives of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy
According to the survey, Bangkok Hospital Headquarters achieved the highest energy savings in the business building category from the energy management system implemented throughout the year 2020, due to energy-saving campaigns, setting specific operating times for air conditioners and large machinery, installing timers in the OPD group, changing to energy-saving air chillers, etc., which resulted in energy savings of 7,048,000 baht, accounting for approximately 5% of the total annual electricity cost, successfully meeting the state’s goal of comprehensive energy management reporting by all sectors, thus contributing to the reduction of the country’s energy intensity as per the current EEP2018 plan
